The Shanling ONIX Zenith XST20 is part of Shanling’s premium Onix sub-brand, designed to deliver true DSD playback from any SACD to compatible external DACs.

Like the more compact, CD-only ET3, the Zenith XST20 features a top-loading design with a large glass disc puck/lid for smooth, precise operation.

On the rear, you’ll find six digital outputs for maximum connectivity:

• I2S (HDMI) – SACD: DSD64 Native / CD: PCM 44.1kHz

• Coaxial – SACD: DSD64 DoP or D2P / CD: PCM 44.1kHz

• BNC – SACD: DSD64 DoP or D2P / CD: PCM 44.1kHz

• AES/EBU – SACD: DSD64 DoP or D2P / CD: PCM 44.1kHz

• TOSLINK – SACD: DSD64 DoP or D2P / CD: PCM 44.1kHz

• USB – CD only (PCM 44.1kHz) – SACD not supported

DoP (DSD over PCM) is a protocol that allows DSD data to be transmitted via PCM connections without conversion.

The I2S output is FPGA-assisted and offers 10 selectable pin-out configurations for wide compatibility with third-party DACs. All settings and features are easily accessed through the 3.4" colour touchscreen.
